Full wood rot assessment and replacement on a residential home, including damaged fascia, soffits, and structural framing members.

Project Overview

We were called to assess and repair extensive wood rot damage on a Scottsdale home. The damage had spread from the fascia boards into the rafter tails and required structural replacement.

What We Did

• Assessed full extent of rot damage
• Removed and replaced all affected rafter tails
• Installed new fascia and soffit boards
• Treated all adjacent wood with borate solution

• Pressure-treated lumber for all exterior framing
• PVC fascia boards (rot-proof)
• Borate wood preservative treatment
